The house is located at 9 Taft St. in Uxbridge, MA. Taft St. is a short street parallel to route 122 and route 16. It is a quiet neighborhood about two miles from route 146. The house is about a half hour to Worcester or Providence.

The house was built in 1925 and has recently undergone a complete renovation and updating for today’s needs. The house is very energy efficient and comfortable due to the air sealing and high levels of insulation. Because the rate of heat loss is low, the heat is able to be maintained with low temperature water. this in turn means there aren’t hot spots as in most houses. Heat is provided by a radiant floor in kitchen and European style radiators in the other rooms. Heat is included in the rent.

There is a back yard and a small covered porch.  There is parking for two compact cars and additional on street parking.

There is storage in the basement and some in the attic. There is a rear entrance area and laundry.
